WHAT CAN SOFT LASERS DO FOR YOU?

COLD SORE TREATMENT
First off, the laser never touches you. It is held a quarter of an inch away from the cold sore. There is only a warm tingling sensation. Treatment lasts 90-120 seconds. Afterward, the pain from the cold sore is dramatically reduced if not eliminated, and healing occurs half the time. If we treat at the earliest sign of the formation of the cold sore, there exists the possibility of killing the virus, and a cold sore will not form again in that area.

MOUTH ULCER TREATMENT
Again, the laser never touches you. It is held a quarter of an inch away from the mouth ulcer. There is only a warm tingling sensation. Treatment lasts 90-120 seconds. Afterward, the pain from the mouth ulcer is dramatically reduced, if not eliminated, and healing occurs half the time. (Note: Lactinex and Acidophilous, one tablet each per day, works for me - Eric Bray)

NUMB LIP/TONGUE AND BELL'S PALSY TREATMENT
Yes, the laser never touches you. For this treatment, we would need to see you every three days, usually for a month. In the case of a numb lip or tongue, patients will generally feel a tingling, which is indicative of the nerve healing. In the case of Bell's Palsy, there is a sensation felt and some twitching of the facial muscles.

VAPORIZING CAVITIES
Shallow cavities that have made a hole in the enamel can be vaporized without harming the healthy enamel. Then, a sealant can be placed to prevent a cavity from forming again. No shots, no drill.

TREATMENT FOR ABSCESS OF TEETH/GUMS
Soft lasers can be used along with adjunctive treatments to drain the abscess, vaporize the disease-causing bacteria, relieve pain and promote healing.

TREATMENT OF ONGOING GUM DISEASE
Soft lasers can be used along with adjunctive treatments to reduce the disease-causing bacteria without harming the good bacteria, which results in less need for surgical intervention to treat these diseases.

ADJUNCTIVE TREATMENTS IN SURGICAL DENTISTRY
When used as an adjunctive treatment, the laser can do nearly bloodless incisions and tissue removal with minimal soreness after the surgery.
